I met with 50 women over 50 in my studio, We had real conversations and I took their pictures and nowI want to help give all of our stories visibility for everyone but especially for other women approaching this time in their lives.

It is exciting and challenging to approach this age
I’ve changed so much in the last couple of years, Who hasn’t right? But I also realize we don’t really know what to expect from turning 50 since women around 50 and over are barely showed in media, we are almost invisible.
In reality, what I see around me is a whole lot of interesting women with fantastic projects, some are changing their lives, others are harvesting the gifts of a life of hard work but the common thread is that all are busy and having so much fun in life.
A topic that keeps coming out is reinvention. Women over 50let go of the need to fulfill other people’s expectations and find ways to enjoy their own life with purpose.

You can still come to my studio for a session where we will connect, talk about projects, dreams and photograph you in a very natural way. The idea is to capture who you really are. When I’m done editing the photos I will invite you back to see them printed and choose the ones you would like to keep.
